The 44,000 yen set includes the Kabuto Zecter ver.2 body, replacement wing parts, the Clock Up Side Buckle ver.2, the Hyper Zecter ver.2 body, its Side Buckle, and a Rider Belt. A 35,200 yen Update Set drops the belt for owners of the earlier versions.
The release lands about a month before the November 6 V-Cinext Kamen Rider Kabuto 20th: Ten o Tsugu Mono, so the update set is positioned to sell to people who already own a ver.1 belt rather than to replace it.

The update set carries everything in the full package except the Rider Belt, and Bandai prices it at 35,200 yen against 44,000 yen for the complete version. Both run on the same preorder window and the same April 2027 shipping date.

Among the differences from the earlier releases is a set of Kabuto Zecter replacement wing parts, which the ver.1 and ver.1.5 did not include. Details arrive when preorders open on October 9.

The 35,200 yen Update Set exists because Bandai assumes enough people bought the first Zecter run to justify a belt-less SKU. That is a bet on the resale market, not the preorder window.
The 35,200 yen Update Set assumes enough first-run Zecter owners exist to justify a belt-less SKU.
Bandai priced the belt-less Update Set at 35,200 yen against 44,000 yen for the full kit. That gap only works if the earlier Zecter versions sold deep enough that owners are still buying parts, which makes the upgrade path the real product here.
Bandai has opened the Premium Bandai product pages for the CSM Kabuto Zecter & Hyper Zecter ver.2, with preorders running October 9 to December 2, 2026 and shipping in April 2027. The full set costs 44,000 yen; a 35,200 yen Update Set omits the Rider Belt for people who own the earlier ver.1 or ver.1.5. Specs stay under wraps until the preorder date, and the update set includes replacement wing parts the older releases did not have.
[{"source":"Dengeki Hobby Web","url":"https://hobby.dengeki.com/news/3186472/","title":"Kamen Rider Kabuto CSM Kabuto Zecter & Hyper Zecter ver.2 Announced!
