Two operators join: Xai, a Support/Cold unit who amplifies damage and creates an attack-target duplicate called Ink Soul, and Minho, a Vanguard/Electric unit who charges on a mount named Nuri. The update adds a new area, Xai's Painting, plus the inn-management event Mortal Bonds and the combat event Hundred Delights Martial Exercise.
The update widens Endfield's roster toward unconventional tactics while attaching permanent content, animal rearing, and farming automation to an inn-management event, a sign Hypergryph is building out the game's non-combat loop alongside its combat events.

Xai and Minho arrive with distinct roles. Xai, a Support/Cold operator, amplifies Cold and Heat, reduces combo-skill cooldowns, and can inflict an action-stopped status while dealing damage through combo and ultimate skills. Minho, a Vanguard/Electric operator, contributes to physical compositions through Crush and rides the mount Nuri in an ultimate that impales and gathers multiple enemies.

The new area, Xai's Painting, is a special space inside a painting where a paintbrush repairs broken bridges and enemies are fantastical ink-drawn beings.

Xai's kit turns a copy of the attack target into an ally, which makes the Cold Support slot a damage multiplier rather than a freeze tool.
