The group said the hiatus was decided by management after discussions with the talent and will last for the time being, with no end date set. Because the matter involves contract-related details, management said it will refrain from disclosing the specific circumstances or reasons. The announcement asked fans to stop contacting Kurikoma or other members about the situation and apologized for the sudden notice. Further updates will be posted on the official X account, and management said it will keep working to create an environment where members can focus on their activities. Kurikoma debuted on August 14, 2021, alongside fellow first-year member Chiyoura Choumi, and her channel has 487,000 subscribers. She is known for frank, edgy content including live-action location videos.
Aogiri High School is withholding the reason for the suspension because it involves contract matters, so the announcement carries no timeline and no explanation, only an instruction to fans to stay away from the talent and her colleagues.

Kurikoma Komaru is a founding-era talent who debuted on August 14, 2021, together with Chiyoura Choumi, as a "first-year student" of the group.
