It runs inside AI coding environments such as Cursor and Claude Code and works through seven transformation principles. A bundled checker scores remaining AI-likeness on a 100-point scale. Oga describes it as personal research, not a company product.
Editing tools aimed at AI text have mostly swapped banned words for other vague ones, while this one targets sentence structure, which is the part the existing approach never reached.

Oga built yomiyasu around seven transformation principles rather than a word blacklist. It makes the subject and predicate relationship explicit, replaces vague demonstratives like "this" with concrete nouns, strips metaphors and personifications such as "melting time," removes preambles like "what's important is," and turns double negatives into plain affirmatives.

Formatting gets the same treatment. The skill holds sentences to a guideline of 30 to 45 characters on average, caps commas at two per sentence, and suppresses excess bullets, bold text, emoji, and trailing colons. Users can pass a domain such as technical articles, business specs, or essays to shift the style.

yomiyasu ships with a 100-point AI-likeness checker alongside the rewrite skill, so Oga built the measurement into the tool rather than leaving polish as a matter of taste.
yomiyasu ships with a 100-point AI-likeness checker, so Oga treats polish as a score, not a taste call.
yomiyasu is not pitched as a company product; Oga calls it personal research and releases it under the MIT License. The bundled 100-point checker is the sharper detail, since it lets users measure leftover AI-likeness instead of guessing whether a rewrite worked.
Aiichiro Oga of ALGO ARTIS released yomiyasu, an MIT-licensed skill that converts awkward AI-generated Japanese into readable prose for technical articles and design specs.
