Nagi regains consciousness only when someone directs murderous intent toward him, and Shizuka believes extreme murderous intent will fully awaken him. The combat wheelchair Nagi rides, called the Tank Chair Mark-1, was also shown. Tadahiro Yoshihira and Hiroaki Ando are co-directing and writing the script at Polygon Pictures. Yūki Moriyama is designing the characters, Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music, and Kazuma Teshigahara handles production design. Kodansha USA Publishing has licensed the manga. Yashiro began the manga on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket service in November 2022 before moving it to Monthly Shonen Sirius in November 2024.
